Trousers of this type were worn across North Europe from the 2nd century BC until the 10th century AD. The style was even worn until the 16th century in some regions, such as Ireland. These comfortable trousers permit optimal freedom of movement. Whilst extra warmth is desired, the bottoms may be wrapped with leg wrappings. The trousers are crafted from a wool mix.
