The soap is gentle but quickly lathers abundantly and makes the fur really clean. Due to a fairly high degree of overfatting, the fur gets a nice shine. Coconut oil in the fur is also said to repel ticks. With a string around the wrist, the soap does not slip out of the hand and can be hung up to dry
