Here, sparse pine forest spreads over open heaths where many unusual mushrooms thrive. Next door is Piparblesjn a tranquil forest lake that contributes to the areas rich natural values. This particular location was the starting point for this painting. I have picked pigments from the soil along the lakeshore and paths,
