Drink 2020-2022
full bodied style exhibiting spice and blackberry aromas
but with the potential to be a long term cellaring prospect if desired
cranberry and raspberry fruits with typical Waitaki spiciness and an underlying note of darker fruit
Fervor Edward’ Syrah 2021 beaujolais Drink 2020-2022The colour is bright and intensely luminous with hues of crimson red and purple. A soft and generously well rounded syrah made in the increasingly more common cool climate style with less overt tannin and extract but still with delicious succulent fruit flavours. Spicy plum on the nose with a floral lift showing a hint of licorice. The palate is smooth and seamlessly structured with its medium body supported by chalky tannins and a little oak.
