Remelluri Rioja Lindes Labastida 2021 TBO The red half of MatthewThe vineyards of Remelluri have produced wine since the medieval period, but it was only in 1967 that the Rodrguez family bought the abandoned estate and set out to make genre defining Rioja releasing the appellation's first single vineyard wine in 1971. The Lindes cuves are the next chapter in that project: single village wines, inspired by Burgundian labeling, made to honor the terroirs Rioja has only recently allowed producers to name on the label.
